Our Domino Type Control-cum-Indication Panels, designed in accordance with RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/186/2004, are tailored to meet the complex operational demands of relay based Panel Interlocking, Route Relay Interlocking and Electronic Interlocking (also known as CBI / SSI) systems. The core of the Domino panel lies in its matrix of interchangeable modules—each a self-contained unit housing Push Button or Rotary, Switches, LEDs, keys, or counters. This modular approach allows for rapid fault detection and replacement, significantly reducing system downtime. Whether it's upgrading a station layout or troubleshooting a single circuit, individual modules can be replaced or modified without disrupting adjacent units or affecting the larger system.

Customised Visual Layout for Real-Time Operational Clarity

Each panel features a geographically accurate, illuminated faceplate that vividly reproduces the yard layout. This includes detailed representations of tracks, signals, points, cabins, level crossings, and other operational landmarks. The faceplates are inclined between 30° and 60° for enhanced visibility, and LED indicators convey real-time status of track occupancy, signal states, and point positions. Control buttons are positioned intuitively on the diagram, enabling swift route setting and fault isolation by the Station Master or operator.
This solution delivers comprehensive functional compliance without compromising system robustness. By intentionally minimising complex electronics—utilising only essential components such as resistors, diodes, and LEDs—it ensures long-term operational stability. The design philosophy enables reliable performance over 20 to 25 years, a level of durability that is impossible to achieve with industrial-grade computers or video display-based systems.
Precision Manufacturing and Ergonomic Design

Our panels are fabricated from high-grade cold-rolled mild steel (IS: 513 Grade D) and finished in Siemens Grey textured powder coating for both aesthetics and durability. Each unit, which is custom made in proportion to the station yard size, is equipped with detachable rear covers for convenient access, double locking mechanisms for security, and structured leg space for seated operation. All components are designed to facilitate long-term service, even under the demanding conditions of railway environments.

Advanced Domino Modules for Multi-Functional Use

Each Domino module is precision-engineered from moulded Nylon 66, featuring an internal honeycomb structure that securely houses key components such as LEDs, push buttons, and PCB assemblies. This design ensures excellent electrical insulation, mechanical durability, and ease of maintenance. The modules are available in a variety of functional configurations—including indication, push-button, key-operated, and counter types—allowing full customisation to suit the specific operational requirements of each station.
The faceplates and top coverings are fabricated from anodised aluminium sheets, rendering the entire Domino assembly corrosion-resistant, even in the saline and humid environments common along India’s extensive coastal regions. This enhances long-term reliability and performance, particularly in demanding field conditions.




Structured Wiring and High-End Connectivity

Our panels are meticulously wired using flame-retardant, tinned copper conductors, capable of handling operational currents up to 1 Amps. Wiring is neatly bunched and tagged with ferrules for easy traceability. Depending on client requirements, terminations are done using Tag Blocks (IRS: S77), IEC-compliant terminals (e.g., Wago, Phoenix, Connectwell), or conventional barrier terminals or as per user requirements—all compliant with RDSO norms.

Modified Electronic Interface for CTC-TMS or Electronic Interlocking

Our newly supplied, as well as legacy Domino Panels, can be seamlessly enhanced through data interface modules that enable integration with CTC-TMS or Electronic Interlocking systems—achieved via copper-less connectivity using Modbus/TCP or OPC-UA protocols over optical fibre links. This architecture entirely eliminates the risk of conducted electrical disturbances, safeguarding sensitive electronics from faults such as earth leakage or lightning-induced surges.
This design offers a distinctive advantage: it combines robust performance, cost-efficiency, and ease of maintenance, while ensuring a product lifespan of 20–25 years—all without the complexities or vulnerabilities associated with Video Display Units (VDUs) or industrial PCs. The result is a truly interference-free, durable solution that retains the simplicity and reliability of the standalone Domino platform.
